She was born on 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the name given to her. of her. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood however she has an American nation by birth. Gerina has always been a fan of sports. Gerina began to play golf when she was just 15 years old. Gerina went to Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school she was the winner of in the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. In addition to volleyball, she competed on the state level. 2003was the year she started her studies in The University of Texas. As a senior she was a winner of every tournament that was entered. In her college career, she was awarded Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athletics Player of the Year.
