Thunberg took a decisive stand in August of 2018. She remained in the Swedish parliament, walked out of classes and wore a sign that said "School Strike For Climate". It was important to her to get the attention of the politicians and convince the government to adopt measures to curb the effects of global warming. Swedish media reported Thunbergs protest and spread the news. Following the strike the students from all over joined Thunberg's #FridaysforFuture movements. Students took Friday off in protest against global warming. Climate activists across the planet took part in their efforts to organize the Global Strike for Climate. This was a huge success. There were more than 1.6 million people from 125 nations took part.

Nia Peeples born Virenia Gawendolyn peeples in the United States is an actress and singer. She is famous for her role as Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame). Also, she is well-known for her role on Walker Texas Ranger and The Young and the Restless as Sydney Cooke and Karen Taylor.
