Molly Tarlov, an American actress who has been starring in Awkward since the year 2011, is best known as Sadie Saxton. Tarlov is the eldest daughter of two and was raised in Manhattan. When she was 10-years-old, she began her acting career in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th year olds who watched the show were very impressed. As she grew older she attended NYU Tisch in Paris as well as the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's in the field of theatre. Additionally, she studied with The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate the writing aspect of her act at the LAByrinth Theater Master class. Molly swapped her black jacket for a black pair of sunglasses, before leaving for Los Angeles. Her quick rise to fame was when she landed a three word character on iCarly that attracted a lot of interest by her family and friends. Molly has made a number of shows on television and has developed the role of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly is a pretentious pretender to perform basketball with ease despite the fact that she doesn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
